Finally done:

The Mixing of the New RANDOM Album is done

Good news for all RANDOM fans! Producer Marc Chandler has just finished the mixing of the new RANDOM songs. "It still needs a bit of fine tuning, then the mastering will be done", RANDOM's band leader and "rivet pope" Fred Otto said yesterday.

Ten songs will find their way onto the album. Beside re-recordings of RANDOM classics as "Lady", "Black Wheels And Steel" and "Don't Kill The World", there will also be new compositions on the album. Enrico contributed compositional stoneware in terms of a song called "Hallo", which has already been presented exclusively as a rough mix on palazzomusic.com a few months ago.

As a kind of "last minute" song applies the ballad "Angel", composed by guitarist Norbert Wandner , and arranged by Fred Otto and him. The production of this tracks, for which Enrico has written new lyrics, has been acquired by Majk Moti.

Soon there will be a photo shooting for the cover art work. This is a good index that the album will be released in the near future. Yet we hope that the album will be realeased this year.

Shooting has finished:

Twenty-one participants to be seen in the new Video

That brisk attendance of people "director" Enrico Palazzo himself has never expected. About twenty friends, fans and other acquaintances have followed his call. And it was not just a crowd scene to be shooted, in which just as much faces as possible should be caught by the camera. But rather there was asked real thespian abilities of the actors. And so it took three entire days until every person had played their rolls in front of the camera.

Presumably the result will be able to be gazed by mid of October, after Enrico has finished cutting the video. The about four minutes lasting music video of the song "Ain't It Better To Take The Funky Way?" will be published at Enrico's YouTube page. For those who still don't know the song we recommendl Enrico's MySpace page, where you can hear the track in full lenth.

At this point Enrico wants to say thanks to all who contributed to this initiative. We are already looking forward to the result!

Enrico shows his "Bench at the Hofgarten":

Great Summer Exhibition at the"Liefer 11"

Starting today a three-weeks summer exhibition occurs at the "Liefer 11". This event, which has taken place at Heimo's legendary "Blues Corner" up to last year, has found a new home in the heart of Düsseldorf's old town now. More than fourty artists show their masterpieces within the premises of the pub at the famous Liefergasse.

Thereby Enrico presents his photography "Bench at the Hofgarten", which shows one of the luminescent benches at Germany's oldest public park, spectacularly staged at night and shot in monochrome. But also all other artists have brought along real eyecatchers. For Johnny Depp's fans there is a oil painting, one meter large - for a lousy price of 1.100 Euro.

But even for smaller wallets the exhibition has something to offer. Usually the prices of the exhibits vary between 50 and 200 Euro.

Wolfgang Thiemann is dead:

Rest in Peace, beloved "Professor"!

Düsseldorf's patron of the arts, DJ and promoter Wolfgang Thiemann, who in the city is well-known as the "Professor" for decades, has deceased after long disease last night.

"Professor", who rarely was noticed by general public without wearing his XXL western hat, dedicated his life to the music. For many years he worked as a disc jockey at the legendary "Dallas Inn" in the heart of Düsseldorf's old town. He supported many music talents and has always been at hand for help and advise. Finally he was committed to the management of Düsseldorf's blues musician Joe Blues.

Rather one year ago medicins made the diagnosis of cancer of Wolfgang's lung. He deceased in the early morning hours in the arms of his beloved wife Natascha.

Dear "Professor", we will always wear you in our hearts and will never forget you!
